The Ciego de Ávila Aqueduct and Sewerage Company develops important investments and strategies in order to guarantee the precious liquid to the population, the rational and efficient use of it.

In order to expand the water supply and improve its quality, the purification plant is underway in the Díaz Pardo community in the main municipality, an action that has brought with it encouraging airs and expectations of having a more drinkable water by 2021. purified.

The construction of this facility has been one of the most intense and prioritized activities these days, as it will generate a high impact on the Avilanian population that will benefit from this service, since the plant has a production capacity of 500 liters per hour.

The concerns and efforts of the highest authorities of the government and the party for water supply services respond to a concept recalled by Vice-Prime Minister Inés María Chapman, in the National Assembly of People's Power, when she stated:

"Everything that is carried out in this sector responds to a single idea of ​​Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, architect of the country's hydraulic will, and what we do today must continue along that line of work."
