From the 14th to the 20th of this month, the Ciego de Ávila Aqueduct and Sewerage Company undertook a series of high-impact actions in the suppression of leaks in Fernando Callejas streets, B and C streets of the main municipality.

This important work for the Avilanian people managed to reduce the losses that in this area caused the waste of more than 30 liters per second of the precious liquid. Workers from the basic business units belonging to the municipalities of Baraguá, Venezuela and Majagua supported the work that has been carried out.

Until recently, 111 leaks have been eliminated and 31 clearings were undertaken within the action area. It is worth noting the work carried out by the workers of this company, a task that has managed to optimize the delivery of water resources to the population and the country's economy.
