The company Aguas de La Habana works daily to improve the water supply service to the capital, an example of this is the "Plan 0 Pipes", which aims to eliminate the permanent pipe plan and only maintain the tank cars to supply in case of eventualities.

One of the investment works that are part of this strategy is that of Rincón-Cacahual in the Boyeros municipality, which began last year 2020 and a total of approximately 7 km of networks were executed, anticipating completion this year around 7 km more between networks and conductors; In this way, a total of 2,360 inhabitants who are currently supplied by tank cars would be eliminated from the permanent pipe plan, and 82 weekly pipe trips would also be eliminated, representing, in addition to the benefit to the population, significant fuel savings.
